On this day in 1982: Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder were enjoying their first week at the top spot on the U.S. singles chart with ‘Ebony and Ivory.’ The song would spend seven weeks at #1 until ‘Don’t You Want Me’ by The Human League took over the top spot in early July of 1982.
