On this day in 1989: Milli Vanilli started a two week run at #1 on the U.S. singles chart with ‘Girl I’m Gonna Miss You’, the duo’s second U.S. #1, a #2 hit in the U.K. The song also reached #1 in Canada, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands Also on this day in 1989, the duo went to #1 on the U.S. album chart with ‘Girl You Know It’s True’.
